The ProTek RC 170SBL Black Label High Speed Brushless Servo represents the next evolution in servo technology, delivering lightning-fast response, massive torque, and pro-level durability for serious surface racers. Modern brushless servo technology has advanced to the point where holding power, speed, and precision now rival — and often exceed — traditional coreless servos, while offering superior efficiency and lifespan.

Built for demanding 1/10–1/8 scale surface applications, the 170SBL features a full black anodized aluminum case with contrasting aluminum and white accents for a stealth, high-end appearance. The aluminum upper case provides exceptional durability, while the heat-sink-style center case improves thermal dissipation and reduces overall weight during long mains.

A detachable servo lead system allows for clean, custom wiring layouts, and ProTek includes both short and long servo leads to fit a wide range of installations. With blistering speed, massive torque, and full metal gearing, the 170SBL is an ideal choice for competitive buggy, truggy, GT, and touring car builds.

⚠ NOTE: If you experience glitching or poor performance while using a Futaba transmitter, you must turn BLS mode OFF. BLS mode is only compatible with Futaba BLS-type servos.
